When a citizen of a town reaches W12 or K12 they earn the right to their own private estate in that town.
The mayor will assign them a 5x6 plot of land that they can build a house on and landscape. All building
and landscaping costs are paid by the player. You can plant trees, grass, build water, fountains, bridges and
all sorts of other landscape types. You can only spend the talers your have that are above the requirement for
W12.
How to build ![]() After the town's mayor as assigned you some land you will see a yellow button beside the blue navigation arrows (you might need to log off and log back on to see it) To go into building mode click the yellow button (it will then turn pink, which indicates that you are in building mode)
You will notice in the small landscape window a number at the bottom. This indicates how much you are about to spend for the landscaping. That is if you were to do a save. This total will be updated for each landscape type you build.
When you click the save button this amount will be ducted from your experience points(talers).
Now one very important point is overbuilding. If you place a landscape item,
lets say water which costs 15 talers and then, without doing an undo, decide to change your
mind and place a tree(18 talers) there. If you do a save, you will be charged for both(33 talers).
If you are going to be doing a lot of landscaping, I suggest you do it in small pieces and do a save after each piece. There are 4 types of "houses" you can build on your land.
You are allowed to change your house type after you build it, but it is very expensive. At the time this was written the cost was approximately 1800 talers. |
