Building

To get into the building mode, you have to click on the yellow button on the left side of the blue navigation arrows. While it is red, you are in building mode.

A little window will open in the upper left corner. The arrow keys (right, left) on your keyboard enable you to select different types of structures.

Most structures are easily built, just click on the desired location (the yellow frame). The same procedure applies when a Landgraf or higher builds his landlord residence on his lot.

To build game houses and/or a manager, you have to write {game}:{buildingname} into the chatline first: (e.g.: Siedler:Gamblinghut ) and then - while this command is still in the chatline - build as usual. To build a landlord garden, simply replace the game name with the user name.

In the window in the upper left corner you see the actual expenses for buildings before they are saved (lower number: private costs; upper number: public costs).

If you place one structure on top of another, overriding the old one, its costs will stay on your bill anyway. But you can always click the (U)ndo button on the right side of the navigation arrows to empty your bill and start from scratch. It is advisable to undo and do a clean rebuild before saving. If everything is fine, click the (S)ave button on the right side of the navigation arrows. For a landlord the building procedure is now completed. However, when a mayor erects public structures, the treasurer will now receive his building suggestion, and he has to accept the suggestion with his own (S)ave button (or keep Ctrl pressed while pressing S on his keyboard if the treasurer has a low rank and no building menu for himself) before it is actually built. If the Treasurer does not agree, the mayor can undo the suggestion by typing 'u' (undo).

The botton left (now red) shows if you are in the building mode or not (yellow).
