Channels may be adapted to meet certain specifications e.g. moderated discussions. You may combine the modes listed below.
Directly enter the following commands in the chat line of the channel!

Extended Channel Commands
/chwho Gives a list of who is on the channel.
/exit Using this command you will exit the channel.
/makeoper The player with the highest rank will be assigned operator (O). If a higher ranked player enters the channel, operator status will not change (executing this command again, will not change the status either).

How Can The Operator Moderate The Channel?
/oper NAME=+Operator
/oper
NAME=-Operator
Appoints the specified player (additional) operator (O), resp. removes him from that position.
/oper NAME=+VIP
/oper
NAME =-VIP
  Appoints the specified player VIP (V). As VIP a player may talk even though the channel is being moderated.
/invite NAME Invites the specified player into a channel wich is in INVITE-Mode.

/disinvite NAME Disinvites the specified player.

/chkick NAME Kicks the specified player out of the channel. This command may also be executed by VIPs.

What Different Channel Modes Are There?
/mode closed=[on|off] In CLOSED mode no one may join the channel any longer. The channel tool displays this as (C).
/mode invite=[on|off| In INVITE mode only invited players may join the channel (see above /invite). The channel tool displays this as (I).
/mode limited=[number|off] In LIMITED mode only a limited number of players may join the channel. The channel tool displays this as (L[number]).
/mode moderated=[on|off] In MODERATED mode only operators and VIPs may talk. The channel tool displays this as (M).
/mode permanent=[on|off] In PERMANENT mode the channel will persist even if no one is on it. The channel tool displays this as (P).
/mode quiet=[on|off] In QUIET mode there will be no message displayed when a player joins/leaves the channel. The channel tool displays this as (Q).
/mode secret=[on|off] In SECRET mode a channel is hidden. It will not be listed by the channel tool nor by executing '/chformed'.
