2. The Game

Paris Paris is all about bus trips across the french capital. The players build houses close to bus stops in different districts. During the game there are small and big tours. During these the players score with their houses.

3. Gameprocess

Each round there are cards on the right. One card more than players. If it is your turn, you can build a house by clicking on the corresponding card. In order to help you, the available locations are highlighted. There may be two houses at intersections, anywhere else only one house can be build. If a player chooses a fully occupied location, he has to decide which house has to be removed.

In order to remove a house you have to choose the color of that house at the right side of the window.

At the end of each round one card remains. This causes a small bus trip. Each owner of a house at the remaining location gains one point/house. If the location isn't occupied yet, you drive along the bus route and look for the nearest occupied location. Each owner of a house at that location gains one point/house. (NOTE: this last rule becomes effective only if the location given by the remaining card is empty)

In the picture at the left green gains 3 points an grey 1 point (if there is a small bus trip in Luxembourg.

Each round the remaining card is placed in the upper left corner. As soon as there are two cards with the same color in the upper left corner there will be a big bus trip.

When there is a big bus trip the bus drives along the route with the corresponding color. At each of the 4 intersections each owner gains 1 point/house plus 1 point/neighboring house.

Example: In the Picture at the left there is a big bus trip going on at the blue-greenish route. In Montmartre lilac and grey each gain one point (both own one house there and there is no house at the neighboring bus stop. In Pompidou green gains 1 point and yellow gains 3 points (yellow owns houses at St-Nicolas und Pont Neuf, both neighboring Pompidou). Lilac gains 2 points through Hotel de Ville and 1 point through Quartier Latin.

NOTE: A sole house at a non-intersection does not gain its owner any points. If there would have been a grey house at Notre-Dame in the example at the left, the owner wouldn't get any oints for it.

4. Game's End and final calculation

The game ends after 12 (4 players), 15 (3 players) or 20 (2 players) rounds. After those rounds there are big bus trips at those routes that have the same color as the cards with the bus on them (each player has such a card, which is only visible to him). In a 2 player game there is an additionally color which is visible to both players (i.e. there are 3 big bus trips at the end).

If there is a player, who had to remove the most houses (i.e. houses of that player were removed by other players (houses removed by the owner don't count)), then he gets 1 point for each of these houses. If there is a tie, no player gets the points. If it is a 2 player game, this rule is void.

5. Number of cards

There are as many location-cards as roads towards that location. i.e. there is one card for each final station and each intersection of four streets has four cards.
