The game takes place on a 6 x 6 grid.
Each player owns four good (bright) and four evil (dark) ghosts,
which he may distribute on his starting squares as he pleases
(the starting squares are the four middle ones in the two botton rows).
Your opponent NEVER sees which of your ghosts is a good or a bad one.
Players now try to leave the playing area with a good ghost
through one of the exits in the top row.
(It is not sufficient to reach the corner - you must step through).
You win prematurely if you capture all of your opponent's good ghosts.
You lose prematurely if you capture all of your opponent's evil ghosts.

3. Movement and capturing

As your turn, you move one of your ghosts exactly one square
up, down, left or right.
You may either move onto an empty square,
or onto an opposing ghost - in this case you capture it.
You cannot move diagonally and you cannot move onto your own ghosts.

In the bottom right you get a display
which of your opponent's ghosts you have captured so far.
