Emerald Rules
Heeeelp! A dragon!

1. Beginning play
Type /join to enter the game; type /start to begin (3-5 players).
2. The Game
The players start in a castle and take a dangerous trip through a cave. A dragon lives there; she is always hungry and loves to breakfast on visitors. In the cave, the players gather gold and gemstones. The dragon is very greedy and can be bought off with gold.
3. Taking a turn

The active player may move up to two pawns. These rules apply:

- a pawn moves forward as many spaces as there were pawns in its starting space. (Click on the pawn.)
- a pawn which lands on a space with a gold or gemstone card collects it. (Click on the card you want.) This ends the turn.
- if the first pawn to move does not collect a treasure, then a second pawn must be moved. The same pawn may not move twice.
-Moving a pawn into the safe zone at the right-hand side ends the turn.

If a pawn lands on one of the dragon's spaces (the ones marked by the white lines) then the dragon moves randomly from 1-3 spaces in the direction it's facing. It moves only in its four spaces; if it hits the end, it turns around and goes back the other way. If the dragon lands on a space with a pawn, it attacks. If there is more than one pawn, the active player decides which pawn is attacked. The owner of the attacked pawn may bribe the dragon with a gold card (see below). At the end of the turn in which a pawn lands in the dragon's spaces, these spaces move one to the right.

Move the pointer onto your name to see the gold cards you have collected. Click on a card to bribe the dragon with it. If you want to let the dragon eat your pawn, click on the green dragonet at the left.
4. Game end and scoring

The game ends when four pawns reach the safe zone at the right-hand side, or when a player is down to only one active pawn (i.e., four of the pawns [in a 5-player game, 3] have either been eaten or reached the safe zone).

Points are awarded thus:

- Each gold card scores its face value.
- Each gemstone card scores 1 point.
- For each gemstone type, if one player has more of that type than any of the other players do, that player scores 4 points. 4 Punkte extra
- The first player to collect a set of all four gemstone types scores 4 points.
- Each pawn in the safe zone scores 5 points.

High score wins.
